Workshops, Weekends and Classes

STOP Press:

Workshops and classes that have places remaining…

I am delighted to be taking a workshop again at Greystoke Cycle Café’s in one of their highly popular Quirky Workshops.
This workshop is Drawing and Painting the Horse. Tuesday April 2nd. Further details here
The last one was very successful, “even” those who hadn’t “picked up a pencil since school” went home with some lovely work.
I use the method I call Charcoal Painting, pioneered by artist Lesley Humphrey, to help participants to produce a lively and dramatic image of a horse. We work from models and demonstration, and you are guaranteed a lovely lunch as well!

Later in the month, I will be teaching Watercolour and the Art of Sketching, on a weekend course at Temple Sowerby House Hotel. These weekend courses have been popular for a number of years, and participants can be assured of a warm welcome, wonderful food and individual attention, in beautiful surroundings.
