Thank you for scanning! This piece was painted and down in 2014 – when Dufton Pike was covered in snow, yet the sun was shining on its southern flanks – creating its sculptural form. I played loosely with the foreground – wanting to have a feeling of movement that would draw your eye to the pike itself.
