Dorothy Wordsworth walked up here often, she knew these paths as well as she knew every stone of Dove Cottage.I painted this, just here – sitting by the wall of this car park – which would have been field in Dorothy’s day. I like think she would have been as familiar with this view as I am of my own local fells and tracks. I painted this in 2019. Look out for more QR codes!
