Have stepped into the unknown by luckily getting onto a course that will move me into a yet more digital format, chasing out any lingering Luddite cobwebs…
Florence Mine in Egremont is the location, Signal Films the provider and Sam Meech the teacher/mentor.
Our first session had us admiring the red rusty redundant mine buildings whilst trying to film in a torrent of rain so strong that both flooded Egremont and flooded Whitehaven hit the national news.
Still, today I managed to climb onto the relevant project blog
and sitting comfortably (?), began.
I won’t bumble along here about it as it’ll be documented there and this might get all a bit meta if I blog the blog? Very Don Quixote…
